All about Viton Rubber Sheet

To meet the requirement of the aerospace industry to perform well Viton sheet Rubber is manufactured with DKM Fluoroelastomer that was introduced about 50 years ago. To a large variety of oil and grease Nitrile Rubber Sheet is resistant. Due to its cost and performance, it works as an oil seal. It is made in such a way that it prevents oil attacks. Even if it is in contact with the oil and greases it have all the chemical properties that help it to remain intact. It helps to tolerate any contact with industrial oil, hydrocarbons, kerosene, and extremely high temperature.

Viton Rubber Sheet is a 70 Duro Fluoroelastomer Rubber Sheet which exhibits excellent resistance to extreme temperatures and is primarily black. To harsh chemicals like acids and alkalis, they also provide some of the best resistance. Furthermore, sheets should be the ones you should be going for if you are looking for resistance to petroleum-based oil and fuel like petrol, LPG, or diesel.

To mineral acids and aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons, The Viton Rubber Sheet manufactured by Viton sheet manufacturer gives resistance. When exposed to harmful UV rays they are quite stable and therefore also resistant to the adverse effects of ozone. To weathering, they are also virtually unaffected and for critical temperature sealing and corrosion protection applications they are best suited.

However, based on the type of polymer used during the time of manufacturing these rubber sheets these sheets are available in only two grades.

  • UV & Ozone Resistant
  • Acid & Alkali Resistant
  • High-Temperature Resistant
  • They are Resistant to chemicals
  • They are composed of special FKM Compound.
  • It Exhibits some of the best oil-resistant properties.
  • They are also resistant to a wide range of chemicals other than acids and alkalis.
  • To the harmful effects of UV rays and Ozone, they are highly resistant.
  • Special FKM Compound from Viton sheet manufacturer company
  • They are quite highly resistant to alkalis and acids.
  • Oil Resistant
